We were given such a great gift, a thing of wisdom and innovation, and we broke it.
Just like the Monkeys we have become, we couldn't just leave well enough alone, we had to look under the hood and tinker with the perfect gift we had received.
Once we had the ability to understand what we had, and could use it for unending prosperity, but NO, we had to de-evolved to a tree full of monkeys with no understanding of what was given, so now we throw feces at it and proclaim superiority overall.

This is kind of a book review, if you know me I don't do much of a review, but some books just get me thinking, this is one of them.
Shelby Gallagher hits the nail on the head in The Rescue, and really, the entire series A Great State is spot on.
This review will not inspire you with my insights into this Great Book, but it will move you to at least read it, or listen to it on Audible.

As always my take on the book being reviewed will drag me down the rabbit hole, this time is no different, so I ask will any Author write an American Apocolypse/Collapse book that ends with a true recovery of our Republic?

I had gone off on some f-ing analogy and was, I admit, a tad harsh, so I went off on a short rant and was called out.

A Book Review turns into a RANT on Continuity of Government.
Continuity of government (COG) is the principle of establishing defined procedures that allow a government to continue its essential operations in case of a catastrophic event such as nuclear war.
Yet this principle overlooks the glaring problem that the Government was the instigator of the war in the first place.
Also maybe "We the People" don't want Continuity of this form of corrupt government, Founding Fathers Government SURE, this disastrous government, not so much.
